The grip is the most important aspect of a successful tennis swing. Many beginners make the mistake of holding the racket too tight or loosely and then miss the ball, making poor contact or having their racket slip when they hit the ball. The best way to hit the ball correctly is to keep the racket in the correct position.

Another important thing to be aware of is that your forehand swing should begin straight and then curve towards the top of your body when you get to the top of your follow through.
