The other important factor to remember is that your forehand swing should begin straight and then curve towards the top of your body as you reach the top of your follow-through. This problem can be solved by holding the racket with neutral grip. Closed grips are the best choice for players with an open forehand. This can be achieved by putting the racket behind your head, while your knees are bent and your elbows are locked.

Tennis players who have a non-dominant hand should swing the racket above their head and then over their shoulder. If you’re a right-handed player, the racket should face your crotch.
