Tennis is a very popular sport. It is a sport everyone can play, from beginners to professionals. Tennis players can be classified into two broad categories based on their skill to hit the ball more and higher than a forehand or backhand. Tennis players are often unable to hit forehands due inexperience with how to effectively engage their muscles and in what order to hit strong forehands. A successful tennis swing is contingent on the grip you use. Many beginners make the error of gripping the racket to tightly or too loosely and end up missing the ball or making a poor contact or even having the racket break off when they swing at the ball. Holding the racket the right way will give you the best chance to hit the ball in the right way every time.

Another important thing to keep in mind is that your forehand swing path should be straight from the beginning and then curve upwards towards the top of your body as you reach the top of your follow-through. Another crucial aspect of the proper grip is the angle of your stance. Most tennis players are right-handed and have their right arm slung across their bodies. For those who are just beginning, their left arm is typically carried over their body. Most coaches recommend using a neutral grip or in a manner similar to a baseball posture. Tennis players with open stance forehand are more likely to have problems with their forearms. Forehands with an open stance tend to have problems with their grip. This issue can be fixed by holding the racket in an upright grip. Closed grips are best for tennis players who have an open forehand. This can be achieved by placing the racket behind your skull, keeping your knees bent, and keeping your elbows locked.

Tennis players who have a non-dominant hand should move the racket above their head and above their shoulders. The racket should face your crotch if you are a right handed player, and it should face your waist if you are left-handed.
