Tennis is a hugely popular sport. Tennis is a game that anyone can play, from beginners to professionals. There are two main types of tennis players. They are classified based on their ability to hit the ball more than a forehand or backhand. Most often, tennis players have difficulty with hitting forehands because they aren’t aware of how to use the right muscles for their forehands and in which order to hit powerful forehands. Also, tennis players struggle with backhands because they don’t know enough about the proper way to position themselves to hit a great backhand down the court. These two areas are essential to the game and must be addressed.

The grip is the most crucial element of the successful tennis swing. Many new players make the mistake of gripping the racket to tightly or loosely, and end up either not hitting the ball, making improper contact, or even having the racket break off when they swing at the ball. The best way to hit the ball correctly is to hold the racket in the correct position.

Another important thing to be aware of is that your forehand swing path should begin straight and then curve towards the top of your body when you get to the top of your follow-through. This is referred to as cut shots or high arc. A hook with a low arc will have an natural wrist hinge and wrist extension. These factors will determine the type of shots you should be practicing. Tennis players that have an open stance forehand are more likely to have problems with their forearms. Open stance forehand players tend to have issues with their grip. This issue can be resolved by holding the racket with a neutral grip. Closed grips are ideal for tennis players who have an open forehand. This can be achieved by placing the racket over your head, while your knees are bent and your elbows are locked.

Tennis players that have a hand that is not dominant should swing the racket over their head and over their shoulders. The racket should point towards your crotch if an right-handed player and the racket should be pointing towards your waist if you’re left-handed. This will stop the over-the head swing as well as the under-the-shoulder swing from happening. Keep your wrists straight when you swing.
