Tennis is among the most popular sports in the world. Anyone can play tennis, from beginners to the pros. There are two major types of tennis players. They are classified based on their ability to hit the ball further than a backhand or forehand. Tennis players typically struggle to hit forehands because of inexperience with how to properly engage their muscles and in what to do to hit forehands that are strong. A successful tennis swing depends on the grip you use. Many beginners make the mistake of gripping the racket to tightly or loosely, and end up either hitting the ball too far, making improper contact, or having the racket fall off while they are swinging at the ball. The best way to hit the ball correctly is to keep the racket in the proper position.

Another thing to keep in mind is that your forehand’s path should be straight. When you reach the top of your follow-through, your forehand’s swing path should curve towards your top. Tennis players that have an open stance forehand tend to have problems with their forearms. If players have an open stance forehand, they tend to over-turn their wrists and not have a good grip. One way to address this problem is to hold the racket using an even grip. Closed grips are best for players with an open forehand. This can be achieved by placing the racket behind your skull, with your knees bent, and your elbows locked.

Tennis players who have a non-dominant hand should hold the racket above their head and over their shoulders. The racket should face your crotch if left handed and the racket should be pointing towards your waist if you are left handed. This will stop the over-the head swing as well as the under-the-shoulder swing from happening. Keep your wrists straight as you swing.
