Another thing to keep in mind is that your forehand swing path should be straight. When you reach the top end of your follow-through, your forehand’s path should be curved towards your top. You need a solid grip to control your arm’s movement. A weak grip can be extremely dangerous as it could cause you to lose the ball or could cause you to extend your arm.
