Another thing to keep in mind is that your forehand’s swing path should be straight. When you reach the top end of your follow-through, your forehand’s path should curve towards your top. This is referred to as a high arc or cut shot. A low arc or hook would start out with the more natural wrist hinge and wrist extension. Tennis players who have a non-dominant hand should swing the racket over their head and over their shoulders.
