Many beginners make the error of gripping the racket too tight or loose, and end up either missing the ball or making a poor contact or having the racket fall off while they are swinging at the ball. The other thing you need to be aware of is that your forehand’s swing path should start out straight and then curve toward the top of your body when you get to the top of your follow-through.
