For beginners their left arm is usually slung across their body. Most coaches recommend holding the club with a neutral grip or a style similar to a baseball posture. A neutral grip can stop you from hitting with an arm that is not dominant.
Tennis players who have open stance forehand are more likely to have issues with their forearms. If players have an open-stance forehand, they are more likely to turn their wrists and not have a proper grip. This issue can be fixed by holding the racket with an upright grip. Tennis players with an open stance forehands should try to use a closed grip. This can be achieved by placing the racket in front of your skull, keeping your knees bent, and your elbows locked.
Tennis players with a dominant hand should move the racket over their heads and over their shoulders. The racket should face your crotch in case you are an right-handed player and the racket should be pointing towards your waist if you are left handed. This will prevent the over-the-head swing or the swing under the shoulder from happening. Keep your wrists straight when you swing. Also, ensure you don’t give any part of your body too much space.
