Many beginners make the error of holding the racket too tight or loosely and then miss the ball, making poor contact or having their racket slip when they swing at the ball. Another important thing to remember is that your forehand’s swing path should be straight from the beginning and then curve upwards towards the top of your body as you reach the top of your follow-through.
