A successful tennis swing is contingent on your grip. Many beginners make the error of holding the racket too tightly or too loosely, and end up either not hitting the ball, making improper contact, or having the racket fall off when they swing at the ball. By holding the racket in the correct way will give you the best opportunity to hit the ball accurately every time.
Another important thing to remember is that your forehand swing path should be straight. As you get closer to the top end of your follow-through, your forehand’s swing path should curve towards your top. This is referred to as cut shot or high arc. The left arm of newbies is often carried over their body. The majority of coaches suggest that you hold the club with an open grip or similar to a baseball position. The club should be held in a neutral position can ensure that you don’t have a non-dominant arm when you swing.
Open stance forehand tennis players are more likely to have problems with their forearms. If players have an open stance forehand they are more likely to turn their wrists and not have a good grip. A great way to solve this problem is to hold the racket using a neutral grip. Closed grips are best for tennis players with an open forehand. This can be achieved by placing the racket over your head while your knees are bent and your elbows are locked.
Tennis players who have a non-dominant handed should swing the racket over their head and above their shoulders.
