The grip is the most important element of an effective tennis swing. Many beginners make the mistake of holding their racket in a way that is too loose or tight and end up missing the ball and making poor contact or having their racket slip when they hit the ball. Another thing to keep in mind is that your forehand’s swing path should be straight. As you get closer to the top end of your follow-through, your forehand’s path should curve towards your top.
