The grip is the most critical aspect of a successful tennis swing. Many beginners make the error of holding the racket too loose or tight and end up missing the ball making poor contact, or having their racket slip when they hit the ball. The right way to hold the racket in the right way will give you the best opportunity to hit the ball in the right way every time.
