Many beginners make the mistake of holding the racket too tightly or too loosely and end up missing the ball, making improper contact, or even having the racket break off when they swing at the ball. Tennis players with open stance forehands tend to have problems with their forearms. Forehands with an open stance tend to have issues with their grip. This issue can be resolved by using a neutral grip. Closed grips are the best choice for players with an open forehand. This can be achieved by putting the racket behind your head, while your knees are bent and your elbows are locked.
Tennis players who have a non-dominant handed should swing the racket in front of their head and over their shoulders.
