The grip is the most critical aspect of an effective tennis swing. Many beginners make the error of holding the racket too tight or loosely and then miss the ball, making poor contact or having their racket slip when they hit the ball. The right way to hold the racket in the right way will give you the best chance to hit the ball in the right way every time.
Another important thing to remember is that your forehand’s swing path should be straight. When you reach the top of your follow-through, your forehand’s swing path should be curved towards your top.
