Tennis is a very well-known sport. Everyone can play tennis, from beginners to pros. Tennis players can be classified into two broad categories based on their ability to hit the ball more and higher than a forehand or backhand. Tennis players are often unable to hit forehands due to a lack of knowledge about how to properly engage their muscles and what order to hit strong forehands. In the same way, tennis players struggle with backhands due to the fact that they do not know enough about how to properly position themselves for a nice backhand down the court. These two areas are crucial to the sport and must be addressed.

The grip is the most important element of the successful tennis swing. Many beginners make the error of holding their racket too tight or loosely and end up missing the ball, making poor contact or having their racket slip when they hit the ball. The right way to hold the racket in the right way will give you the best opportunity to hit the ball accurately every time.

Another important thing to remember is that your forehand swing path should be straight from the beginning and then curve upwards towards the top of your body as you reach the top of your follow through. One way to address this issue is to hold the racket using a neutral grip. Closed grips are ideal for tennis players with an open forehand. This can be achieved by placing the racket on your skull, keeping your knees bent and your elbows locked.

Tennis players who have a non-dominant handed should swing the racket above their head and over their shoulders. The racket should be facing your crotch if you are a right handed player, and it should face your waist if left handed. This will stop the over-the head swing as well as the under-the-shoulder swing from happening.
