Tennis is a very popular sport. It is a sport everyone can play, from beginners to professional. There are two major types of tennis players. They are classified based on their ability to hit the ball farther than a backhand or forehand. Tennis players typically struggle to hit forehands due a lack of knowledge about how to effectively engage their muscles in to do to hit forehands that are strong. Tennis players also struggle with their backhands due insufficient knowledge about how to position themselves to hit a solid backhand down the court. So, these two crucial aspects of the game have to be addressed by those who wish to be successful in the game.

The grip is the most crucial element of the successful tennis swing. Many new players make the mistake of holding the racket too loose or tight and end up missing the ball, making poor contact or having their racket slip when they swing at the ball. The right way to hold the racket in the right way will provide you with the best chance to strike the ball correctly every time.

Another important thing to remember is that your forehand’s swing path should be straight. When you reach the top end of your follow-through, your forehand’s swing path should be curved towards your top. This is called cut shots or high arc. Closed grips are ideal for tennis players with an open forehand. This can be accomplished by placing the racket over your head while your knees are bent and your elbows are locked.

Tennis players who are non-dominant handed should swing the racket above their head and over their shoulders. The racket should face your crotch if left handed, and it should face your waist if you are left-handed. This will help prevent either the over-the-head swing or the under-shoulder swing from happening. Keep your wrists straight when you swing. Also, ensure that you don’t give any side of your body too much space.
