Another thing to keep in mind is that your forehand’s swing path should be straight. As you get closer to the top end of your follow-through, your forehand’s swing path should be curved towards your top. This is referred to as a high arc or cut shot. Closed grips are the best choice for players with an open forehand. You can achieve this by placing the racket in front of your skull, keeping your knees bent, and keeping your elbows locked.

Tennis players with a dominant hand should move the racket over their head and then over their shoulder. The racket should point towards your crotch if a right handed player and the racket should be pointing towards your waist if you’re a left handed player. This will prevent the swing that is over the head or the swing under the shoulder from happening.
