Tennis players with open stance forehand are more likely to have problems with their forearms. Open stance forehand players tend to have problems with their grip. This issue can be fixed by holding the racket with neutral grip. Tennis players who have open stance forehand must try to hold the racket with a closed grip. This can be accomplished by placing the racket over your head, while your knees are bent and your elbows are locked.

Tennis players who are non-dominant hand should hold the racket over their head and above their shoulders. The racket should be facing your crotch in case you are a right handed player and the racket should be pointing towards your waist if a left handed player. This will stop the head-over-head swing or the under-shoulder swing from occurring. Keep your wrists straight as you swing. Also, make sure you don’t give any side of your body too much space.
